About Me

I’m a culture writer and researcher based in Dar es Salaam, with a keen interest in African art and (pop) culture. My work explores art in all its forms, against political and identity considerations including race, gender, sexuality, and class

My work has appeared on The Floor Magazine, The Citizen, Tangaza Magazine, The Republic, Gal-dem, African Arguments, AMAKA, Tewas Art Africa and Africa Podfest.

Formerly at African Philanthropy Network. Now a full time freelancer keen to work.
